For more than 30 years we have been producing upholstered furniture in Leszno, Wielkopolska. Our 1500 employees serve well-know retailers as well as distributors of our own brand in Western Europe. We are part of the privately-owned German EuroComfort group which concentrates its major production and logistics operations in Leszno. Due to dynamic development we are currently looking for an experienced General Manager who drive daily operations and implement our growth strategy in direct cooperation with the owner of the EuroComfort group.
General Manager
Scope of duties:
- Responsibility for the daily operation of all plant aspects
- Take full responsibility for the profitability of the Euroline company, especially ensuring that the plant meets production goals at appropriate manufacturing cost and optimized working capital
- Execution of key investments in capacity, efficiency and new manufacturing capabilities
- Acceleration of new products implementation
- Take the lead to execute transformational improvement on and off the shopfloor
Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum 10-year work experience on managerial position in manufacturing company (Furniture company would be an asset)
- Proven experience in dynamising teams and reaching step change in labour-intensive manufacturing processes under continuous cost pressure
- Experience in implementing modern methods of manufacturing management
Language skills
- fluent English and Polish skills
- German language would be a substantial advantage

Education
- Degree in technical studies, furniture background is a plus
